About me
I was born in Murska Sobota, Slovenia. After primary school, I decided to enrol in Secondary School of Hospitality and Tourism, Radenci. This school is the best and most granted in Europe for hospitality. The decision to become a chef was made because my mother cooked delicious.
I have more than 20 years of work experience. I worked in Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia and Australia (Mediterranean, Greek, Italian, Slovenian, Hungarian and Serbian cuisine.) I’ve always been particularly interested in culinary and aromatic plants and have been working with them for over 22 years. I am a chef and artist with a passion for herbs and spices. I live in Sydney, Australia where I’ve developed my own mixture spice LAI-CHI taste.
